RISE Art Exhibition 2025
I was honoured to take part in the RISE Art Exhibition at the 2025 Housing Central Conference—my second year exhibiting at this meaningful event. Hosted at the Sheraton Wall Centre in Vancouver, RISE brings together artists whose work reflects the many ways we move through rebuilding, grief, displacement, healing, and transformation.
The exhibition explores resilience in its countless forms: light returning after a storm, roots breaking through concrete, and the slow, powerful process of rebuilding a sense of home. With artists working across a range of mediums and lived experiences, RISE offers a space for powerful, unexpected interpretations of what it means to rise.
Being part of this show again was deeply rewarding. The conversations, the shared stories, and the atmosphere of care and intention made the day truly special. I’m grateful to have the chance to contribute my work to a space centered on community, reflection, and hope.
The exhibition took place on November 19th, 2025, and was exclusive to conference attendees—an intimate setting that allowed for meaningful connection with those working on the frontlines of housing, support, and advocacy across the province.
I’m thankful for the opportunity and for everyone who took the time to engage with my work.
