Portraiture Directive
Portraiture Directive explores the tension between life, duty, and personal desire through overlapping forms and dynamic composition. Elements clash and converge, suggesting a constant negotiation of identity shaped by external expectations and internal drive. It reflects the struggle to find coherence amid conflicting pulls, where balance remains elusive yet deeply sought.

Skyline
Skyline reflects the shifting landscape of emotion, where joy and fear intersect like the meeting of earth and sky. Painted during a time of personal transition, the piece captures the fluidity of feeling—how internal states can mirror the world around us. Layers of colour and form create a horizon that is both expansive and uncertain, embodying the tension between possibility and the unknown.

Forgone Network
In Forgone Network, I delve into the layered experience of navigating life in the absence of the connections that ground us, be it through people, places, or a sense of belonging. This work reflects the resilience required to continue forward when the network that once supported us becomes fragmented or lost.

Ocean Sun
Ocean Sun was painted after spending time at the ocean near my home, observing how light moves across the water’s surface. The work responds to the shifting motion of the sea, capturing moments where sunlight breaks, scatters, and reforms within the rhythm of the waves. It reflects both the energy of the ocean and the quiet attention required to notice how light inhabits movement.

Intertidal Transference
A reflection on how space isn't just something we occupy; it shapes us. The shoreline shifts with each tide, transforming not only its landscape but our perception of it. Sometimes, a moment that feels mundane in its familiarity reveals something luminous and profound. It's about catching that glint of beauty that exists in the quiet, unexpected places. How a space can resonate beyond its physical form, leaving traces that change us.
